Journey Back to Freedom The book tells the story of Olaudah Equiano who is snatched from his home in Africa and forced into slavery in the 18th century. It tells the story of his life and his fight for freedom.
We will use the book as inspiration to explore Africa in the past. In particular, we will investigate the ancient kingdom of Benin.
