Anglo-Saxon Boy
For our key text this term we will be reading Anglo-Saxon Boy by Tony Bradman. Set in 11th-century England, this historical adventure follows the life of young Magnus Godwin, son of a powerful earl, as he becomes caught up in the dramatic events leading to the Battle of Hastings. We’ll be using the text to explore what life was like during the Anglo-Saxon period and how key historical events shaped the lives of those living at the time.
