I am Mrs Sasha Owen, Head of School at King's Gate Primary School. 

I have been the Head of School at King's Gate Primary School since September 2019. My teaching journey has crossed 27 years and covered the whole primary age range in a number of very different schools in Hertfordshire and, more recently Wiltshire.

I feel very excited and privileged to be the very first headteacher of King's Gate Primary School - it is a very special place to work. Having the opportunity to be part of something so exciting and special from the very beginning has been amazing.

I am passionate about making every second of a child's primary education count through memorable learning experiences, this shines through in every single member of the King's Gate Team. 

Outside of school, I am a mum to two teenage daughters. When I have a spare moment, I enjoy running and spending time in my garden.
